My Colorful Soul: Angel from the Mountains

About My Watercolors...

I will begin with a memory. A memory where I am a child and my mom, sitting on the bed beside me is reading me a story. The big book, with tick covers, lying in her lap is from her childhood. She browses through the yellowish pages and shows me each picture. So she is describing a magical, colorful palette of dreams princesses, distant kingdoms and enchantment. Mom is reading and it is as if she is making magic. Magical are the colorful pictures as well – the Sleeping Beauty, Little Red Riding Hood, Cinderella, the Stork-Khalif…

Every child dreams of being a character of these stories but I don’t. I dream of being able to draw these fairy-tales. The colorful pictures seem to me as the most wonderful thing in the whole world.

Today, the childhood is long gone and it’s been quite a while since my mom doesn’t read me stories. The books with the thick covers are at rest in the bookshelf and I am sitting with a brush in my hand and I am painting. Now I can make fairy-tales of my own.

When people speak of the path of creativity, it is usually all about wanderings, uncertainty, myriads of questions. Well, I haven’t had such. Since I was four I have been painting and I’ve never had even a moment of doubt what am I to do.

Professional highschool of textile and fashion design. Individual reviews with decorated textile. Studies of Industrial design. Specialization in the Braunschweig University of Art. Internship in the design team of the German concern Medion in Essen. Specialization in design bureau “XL+ Design”, Shanghai. Master Degree in Graphic Design. Accomplished projects of industrial and graphical products. Participation in many exhibitions. Master class in painting with Prof. Nikola Angelakov, one of the few living disciples of Prof. Vassil Stoilov

.Today I am a certified designer and art director in an Austrian company. The world of design is my work, but my inspiration for it comes from my strongest and genuine passion – painting.

Someone would say: But how can painting inspire you? The painting itself needs inspiration.

It is so.

I love the sun, the rain, the autumn, the clouds, the mountain, the spring, the trees, the flowers, the summer, the watter, the snow, the winter, my bike, my bag, freedom, the flight of spirit...

The aquarelle is my faviourite way to express myself. This is simply world I see through my eyes – fine and aerial, marvelous and colorful, tender and wonderful, magical and enchanting.
